Go to your local health store and get a calcium supplement. They come in pill form. Also protein powder you can mix in juices or water will help.


Also eat gelatin. Any flavor of gelatin is fine.
there are lots of other foods w/ calcium in it

yeah take care of your face, look fresh for tmrw, get some quality sleep, that way you will look pretty good for tmrw , fresh , awake alert, and well dressed. all i could suggest is to brush your teeth, use listerine, and bring mints with you to school, put on some deoderant and a dab of fragrance for tmrw.





good luck! also remember to be organized with binders and everything , but im sure you already know all this so im not gonna bore you to death with my high school advice, the funny part is im younger than you by a year and a little. lol

Shave, yea you should do a face mask, maybe tan one more time, do something pretty with your hair like straighten or curl it.





Dont worry about it though, im sure you will look great!
I would take a long, relaxing bubble bath! With candles, and music. Lol, remember to shave. Read a magazine, get lots of rest, and yeah, do a face mask. Have fun!
Tweeze any stray hairs around your eyebrows. Do a hot oil or deep conditioning treatment on your hair. Drink plenty of water and get tons of sleep! Good luck.

Im Getting Acrylic nails ...?

So in about a week before school starts im going to put on acrylic nails. Im so nervous because i have been reading some Questions and people Answer saying that it hurts. Idkk what to do. Im definitely going to get my acrylic but now people are saying it hurts and im SOO nervous.Im Getting Acrylic nails ...?
hahahaha dont be scared at all. yeah, it hurts a little bit but trust me, you will LOVE them once you get them on. and it doesnt even hurt that much. all they do is paint a bunch of like chemicals on ur nails(it might sound painful but its not. i swear.) the only thing that 'hurts' about them is that they are a little sore after the first time you get them put on. getting fills and stuff doesnt hurt AT ALL.Im Getting Acrylic nails ...?
It does hurt abit but i had mine done when i was 9 and it wasnt that bad the only bits that hurt is when they file your nails and push your cuticles back bu they are really good if you are in the UK go to Hollywood Nails if our in Gateshead/Newcastle somewhere near there in the UK go to Hollywood Nails in the Gallaries they dont hurt that much and are reall pretty and easy to do things with so dont listen to people saying it really bady hurts just getyour finger nail and push your cuticles back thats what it feels like so its not that bad and obv you know what it feels like to have your nails filed x
Nails don't hurt, it's the technicians that cause pain. If a salon uses a metal drill bit on your natural nail, don't let them. Run away as fast as you can. It's the lazy way to do it. Yes the nail needs to be free of dirt and oils but it only needs to be lightly filed. This is the main reason for having permanent damage done to your nails. Sometimes when removing the acrylic nails, the drill can get warm on the nail if it's left on the same spot. Don't go to a cheap place, and you'll have good service! Good luck and enjoy your nails!
If your not used to having them, they will make your fingers sore, but its not bad... Just a bit uncomfortalbe...Its just from the vibration of the drill they use to file your nail and all the acivity that your finger tips aren't used to...





After you get used to the immediate length, the next day you'll be perfectly fine and back to normal
it really doesnt hurt that much.. its a womans pain like plucking eyebrowns cutting yourself shaving.. its a tad of small pain but at the end of it you have beauty! YAY





Acrylics ruin your nails... make sure you go to a good salon!

It doesn't hurt getting them done, at all...But they do damage the nail really bad.

I have been biting for nails for a long long time. Im sick of doing it and I want to stop, but Im having a hard time. I have tried a lot of things. There is a product in most stores to help you stop biting, I think its called bite no more or something like that. It taste awful and doesn't wash off easily, it does work, it helped my son stop sucking his thumb. Good luck! I had the same problem for many years. I was able to grow nails by growing them one at a time, not beating myself up when I backslid and bite a nail, and by using some manicure tools whenever the biting urge would hit me. It also helps to learn not to be so nervous about things in life. Don't try to control. Don't try to over think things. Go with the flow and don't be upset when things don't go your way.
Make up your mind that that's what you want to do. Always keep a nail clipper and file within easy reach and use those as needed or when the urge strikes. The more you take care, the more investment you'll have in those nails, and the less likely you are to chew them up.

lol not all nail polish tastes bad, so I don't believe putting nail polish on your nails would work. I suggest dipping the tips of your fingers in non-acetone nail polish remover every morning. it's quick and easy, and it definitely has a terrible taste to stop your from biting your nails. Try it! I promise it works!
their is a clear nail polish that is ment for that. wenever u start to bite ur nails u will bite ur nail then stop cause it has a disgusting flavor. u can get it at any nail salon
it's hard but yu could do it. start with whenevre yu notice yu r doing that just stop at the moment. think about someone who has beautiful nails. it worked for me. you will mostly notice youself biting nails when you will be nervous for that you have to bring confident t yourself. that really worked for one of my frriends. if you try doing these things daily you will soon for sure stop biting your nails.

cut you nails really short so wont be able to bite them and youll evetually forget about it!

I struggled for years, now I only catch myself biting a catch, so I also carry a file with me.





I tried painting them, but ended up pealing off the paint, nasty looking. So I picked up some expensive nail growth formula and stuck to a 10 day regimine, made it priority. They got healthy and I relapsed over time. So next I just said forget it, I want my nails long and healthy, but not happening. So I spent about 5 months wearing fake ones, just short sport do it yourself packets. Thinking this would get me used to having the length and stop breaking them. So I started biting them off. But I carried some glue with me, watch out for if it leaks use a plastic baggie. Eventually, about 2 weeks, I quit, but I definately don't leave home without my Orbits-the best sugar free bubble gum!





Now I keep breaking them, but carry a nail file with me, and in my car, and at my desk. If I get a snag I cannot stand it, if I don't file I bite. But if I keep them up I am good!





Also, try to see what triggers the biting. Then you can think of more effective ways of dealing with that particular stress, ie being shy or nervous or bored.
I quit by painting them with coloured nail varnish, and alothough they were short and didn't look too nice, i hated biting them with it on because it looks even worse chipped!!

No problem as long as the room is well ventilated
should be okay as long as theres plenty of ventilation in the room.
You can use them however it is advised that you wear one of those masks, like a surgeons mask so the dust from it doesnt get in your lungs.

I know that red is the obvious answer but I'm not really into red nails. Light pink is the prettiest and most feminine.
SILVER, BECAUSE IF VDO DO RED IT WILL BE TOO MUCH.
Go get a french manicure with a design airbrushed on them. It would like nice with or without the design, but I would definitely go with the white tips.

acrylic is the type of nail product they use to create the nail...what you want to ask for is a french manicure (that's the thick white tips).

acrylic nails are not very common now as they ruin your nails





gel nails are great but don't forget you need to get them filled in when your own nails grow under the gel, and if you want them to be removed dont do it yourself as this can harm your nail bed and take up to a year to recover

just ask for them to be painted with a white tip.


and get gel ones they are at leaste a little bit better for your nails then acrylics. they really do hurt your nails
im in uk if u want white tips then ask for french manicure. most places do it after with airbrushing. the only ones where the white tip is permanent as part of the gel is called forever french but i dont think everywhere does them and they are more expensive. the airbrushing method will last till u have them infilled next time or u can paint over them if u wish.
hi i am a nail tec and you need to ask for french/ white tips, as you want them thick you want acrylics as these tend to be thicker than gel, and if the salon does them you want actual white tips ie the nail extention then clear acrylic over the top as they are stronger and a 'perfect' tip, some techs do them with pink and white acrylic over a clear nat tip this can lead to more breaking as there i a weakness where the white is or so i have found hope this help; just ak for white tips and clear acrylic xx

you can either get the clear tips that they air brush on the white tips or the white tip acrylics which are not very good for people with short nails as they take up half the nail and look fake.
i have mine done all the time just go in a see get sat in the seat and that n then say to her can i have the white tips as these are still classed as acrylics there are different types i.e. natural, white, patterened so dont worry you wont sound silly asking.
get an american manicure, That's what I get and they're much nicer. They obviously have the white tips. I got mine done that way.
